For our office in Teteringen, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Netherlands.


What we expect from you

As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on prospecting for new customers (70%) and managing some existing customers (30%). With your energy for bringing in new business, you will ultimately build your own customer portfolio. You can count on the support of a strong team so that you can focus on attracting new customers.

The sales strategies of provocative selling and solution selling are known to you. You know how to ask the right questions, anticipate pain points, and then provide a solution. Your expert advice on our safety products, services, and solutions makes the difference with potential new customers, enabling you to achieve your growth objectives. You will work closely with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Logistics. You will report to the Sales Manager for the Netherlands.

You approach your customers as a safety expert and engage in discussions on how existing safety risks can be optimised. You will come into contact mainly with larger companies, and your interlocutors are diverse and include prevention advisors, safety experts, buyers, and production managers. You know how to map out the customer’s needs well and come up with creative solutions based on your expertise. You will work closely with the commercial back-office team. Your (potential) customer relationships are spread throughout the country, mainly in South Holland and Utrecht. These customers are active in the food, steel, (petro)chemical, and port industries.


What you bring

As a Business Development Manager for the Netherlands, you have already proven yourself in a sales position, preferably in a B2B environment. You have commercial talent and get energy from market developments.

  • You work proactively, result-oriented, and solution-oriented;

  • As an energetic and dynamic person, you like to take on new and innovative challenges;

  • Persuasiveness is your winning asset, and you have a winner's mentality;

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English and have an HBO [higher education qualification in applied sciences] work and thinking level;

  • Experience with software tools such as MS Office, Salesforce, and knowledge of SAP would be a plus

  • Some knowledge of our extensive range of personal protective equipment (PPE) would be a plus.
