Junior Functional SAP Analyst

For our ICT department at our headquarters in Boechout, we are looking for a Junior Functional SAP Analyst.

Your mission

As a Junior Functional SAP Analyst, you will focus on a wide range of support questions specifically about the processes in our SAP environment. You will analyse incoming questions, gain insight into our business processes, and devise solutions.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on (sub)projects with a Senior Functional Analyst based on the needs of the organisation. We will guide you step-by-step through several projects so you can expand your expertise as a Functional Analyst further. This combination has a clear learning effect. You will learn about the processes and the organisation through the support you provide and learn how to provide better support by participating in several projects.

Building bridges between business and IT is the core task of this position. You lend a listening ear, communicate strongly, handle conflicting interests professionally, and guide internal customers through change processes. As a Junior Functional Analyst, you will be part of a well-represented ICT team of 14 people, including 4 Senior Functional Analysts. You will report to the ICT Manager.

What you bring

  • At least 2 years of extensive knowledge of SAP, preferably as a key user or Functional Analyst.

  • An analytical mindset with insight into business processes.

  • Fluent in Dutch and French.

  • Customer-oriented and eager to learn with a focus on career growth.

  • Proactive, both independently and in a team.

  • Strong in planning, organising, and providing support to various departments.

  • Willingness to learn further and delve into SAP software.

  • Stress-resistant and focused on change for clear and targeted actions.
