Vandeputte Safety is looking for a Master Data Expert for our office in Boechout.

The challenge

As a Master Data Expert, you will make sure that our data are reliable and up to date, so that all business operations can run smoothly. You will manage and control master data in our systems, process price updates from suppliers, and create new article numbers to support organised article management. In the event of invoice discrepancies, you will investigate the cause and work together with Finance and suppliers to resolve the issue.

Furthermore, you will work on improving our data processes by proposing automation and efficiency enhancements. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments such as Portfolio Management and Finance to achieve optimal results. These tasks will take roughly 70% of your time.

You will also support a small, specialised team focused on fall protection. You will assist this team of two colleagues with various administrative tasks, such as placing internal orders, preparing reports, managing maintenance records, and reserving equipment for projects. These support tasks will take about 30% of your time.

• You have experience with ERP systems like SAP and are adept at working with various systems.
• Excel holds no secrets for you. You use functions like VLOOKUP and simple calculations effortlessly.
• You are proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• You are strong in planning and organising. You keep deadlines in mind, prioritise tasks, and anticipate potential delays to ensure everything runs smoothly.
