Vandeputte Safety is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator for Flanders, based at our office in Boechout.
 

What we expect from you

As Inside Sales Coordinator, you will lead a commercial inside sales team and report directly to the Sales Manager. You will work together with the account managers in the Flanders Sales team to achieve the objectives set.

You will inspire and support the Inside Sales team to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and act as the go-to person for complex customer cases and substantive questions. You will foster team cohesion, and will keep the interests of both the customer and the organisation in mind while managing the customer portfolio.

You will moreover give direction to the team by translating team objectives into clear tasks and responsibilities, creating clarity in roles so that everyone knows what is expected of them. You will coach team members, identify their training and development needs, and provide encouragement for their professional growth. You provide regular feedback to make sure that team members feel supported in their development and are able to maximise their potential.

Finally, you will make sure that the department is run smoothly through effective planning and organisation. You will monitor performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and make concrete proposals to optimise efficiency. You will cooperate proactively with other departments to create synergies and streamline processes, so that the team can perform even better.
 

What you bring to the table

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years’ experience in a commercial role, where customer focus is an overriding priority.
  • You have experience in a coordinating role and know how to motivate a team, give direction, and drive the development of team members.
  • You are familiar with SAP or a similar ERP system and have excellent Excel skills (including V-lookup and pivot tables).
  • You are results-oriented and have strong persuasive skills, enabling you to motivate and influence others towards common goals.
  • You have a proactive and change-oriented mindset, and are thus capable of responding flexibly to new challenges and improving processes.
