The Challenge

As Fall Protection Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and inspecting fall protection systems.

You will meet with your colleagues at an agreed point in East Flanders, where you will load and prepare the necessary equipment together.  From there, you will go to customers in Belgium or the Netherlands to carry out installations, maintenance and inspections. Once the job is done, you will make sure that the equipment is handled and unloaded properly.

You will make sure that workers can work safety at height by:

• Installing all protection systems correctly according to the relevant manuals and guidelines;
• Maintaining and inspecting these systems so that they meet all the relevant standards;
• Detecting and repairing defects and wear;
• Complying with safety regulations and documenting your work.

What you bring to the table

• A TSO (Technical Secondary Education) diploma in a technical discipline.
• Experience in a technical area such as mechanics, maintenance of a similar field.
• B or BE driving licence so as to be able to move around smoothly.
• No fear of heights because you are used to working high up.
• French level A2: You can hold and understand simple conversations.
